Local Elections Campaign has started

On 1st May, the nation goes to the polls and here in Banbury Constituency we are no exception.

Cherwell District Council elects by thirds, that is for the three years between county council elections, one third of the seats are elected each year.

The seats that are up for election this year, and their Lib Dem candidate, are as follows;

Adderbury : Liz Yardley

Banbury Easington

Banbury Grimsbury and Castle : Martin Chadwick

Banbury Hardwick : Tony Burns

Bloxham and Bodicote : Peter Davis

Caversfield : Andy Murray

There are also some by-elections being held on May 1st as well. These are in the District Council seat of Banbury Hardwick and the County Council seat of Kidlington and Yarnton.
